Hire a freelance copywriter or proofreader to save time and gain expertise!

Commercial copywriting is available to you at short notice. Whether you’re looking for 100 words or 1000, I can help. I have experience in writing copy for online content and print media, from blog posts and social media to SEO-friendly website content. You might want persuasive copy for promotional print or informative content for newsletters, magazines or blog articles. I’ve worked with complex legal copy and plenty of technical terminology across manufacturing, healthcare, retail and hospitality industries.

When sending me your brief, consider the following:

  • your objective
  • is the copy for online (e.g. website or blog) or print (e.g. newsletter, sales literature or an information leaflet)?
  • your brand’s tone of voice
  • the call to action – what do you want people to do when they’ve finished reading?
  • the number of words you need and how much space you’ve got

Simply send your copywriting brief to me or call me to talk it through on 07538 238936

After writing lengthy copy, you often no longer see glaring mistakes. That’s because you actually stop reading; your brain already knows what you’re trying to say and recognises the format of the words.

It can help enormously to have someone else check your material: is it easy to read, does it make sense and can the reader gleam information quickly? Most people associate proofreading with spelling and grammar, but it can also ensure your key messages are conveyed clearly and that your chosen words reflect your brand correctly.

In the past, I’ve been asked to proofread clinical, financial and legal information as well as promotional literature.

Send your project outline and deadline to me and I will give you a quote for proofreading it. Once approved, you’ll receive an amended version in return, including suggestions for improvements and inaccuracies highlighted.

Marketing communications is just one arm of the broader marketing discipline, but it’s the area that most people need help with. Once you have your marketing strategy and plan in place, an extra pair of hands can mean the difference between hitting your deadline or not. Here are some of the day-to-day projects I’m frequently tasked with:

  • new website planning and SEO development
  • website content management (WordPress)
  • e-newsletters
  • promotional or information-based brochures and leaflets
  • press releases
  • Google Analytics
  • pay-per-click advertising and Google Adwords
  • online reputation management
  • event promotion
  • social media management

I’ve worked with lots of brand/design companies, digital marketing agencies and printers and have great contacts within each. Much of my marketing communications experience has been in hospitality (hotels, restaurants and holiday rentals) but I’ve also worked with the manufacturing, banking and hairdressing industries too.

Whatever your sector, if you need an extra pair of hands temporarily, please get in touch to see if I can help on 07538 238936 or email me.
